Where To Take CELPIP In The Philippines?
The CELPIP Test is the most widely used English language test in Canada. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) accepts it as certification of English language proficiency for permanent residence status and citizenship in Canada.
Unfortunately until 2018, the CELPIP Test was not accessible to the Philippines. However, the CELPIP-General Test is now accessible in the Philippines, thanks to Paragon Testing Enterprises. In Manila, the Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts has been designated as an official CELPIP Test Center. The first CELPIP-General Test sessions were conducted on Friday, April 6th, 2018.
Official address : Time Plaza Building, Times Plaza, United Nations Avenue, Ermita, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines.
The test centre is located in Marlins Lab, Fourth floor.
How can you register for the test?
The CELPIP Test can be registered and paid for online. Prepaid credit cards, which may be acquired at the following financial institutions, are recommended for test takers in the Philippines who do not have a credit card for online payment.
1. Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI2Banco De Oro (BDO)
2. Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC)
3. Union Bank
4. Landbank
5. Eastwest Bank
Please note that only one card can be used to make the entire payment.
In order to enable in-person CELPIP Test enrollment and payment, Paragon Testing Enterprises collaborates with organisations in the Philippines. Approved CELPIP Registration Agents are approved centres (ACRA). Please keep in mind that currency rates may vary between companies, and Paragon Testing Enterprises is not responsible for them.
The official test centre, Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, allows you to register and pay in person too. Additionally, you can also register and pay at one of these ACRA locations:
1. Mercan Canada Employment Philippines
2. Jrooz Review Center
3. 9.0 Niner Review and Tutorial Centre
4. World English Reviews
You can view the full list of locations on Paragon’s official website.
As of now, there is only one official test centre for CELPIP in the Philippines. Hopefully, Paragon might start opening new doors and test centres for test takers in the Philippines.
