How long is CELPIP valid?
You might wonder how long your results are considered valid by various organisations and when they expire.
To answer this query, you can access and view your CELPIP Test scores online in your CELPIP account for a duration of two years, from your test date. These results are acknowledged and considered valid by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for two years from the day they are declared online. Once CELPIP results turn invalid, the respective candidate’s name is removed from the pool and he/she will not be considered eligible to be issued an ITA for permanent residence. Although, the length of time that your scores are considered valid is different for various institutions and organisations, which can be determined by their individual policies. You can obtain this information from those respective institutions.
Therefore, candidates whose results may become invalid are encouraged and suggested to sit another test to avoid facing such a situation. You shall register for no more than one Test Session within four calendar days. Registration of Test sessions that violate or do not follow this rule are subject to cancellation by Paragon. The CELPIP Office recommends that one should do additional studying before retaking the test.
